![]() ![]() And again, just changed the settings as I wanted in the UniBIOS (region, dip switches, etc) and then saved it in the core menu to the memory card. I left those two to Europe so that all the wonderful charm of the original title screens show up. I absolutely dislike the US Bust A Move title screens little to no personality from the game. The main exception is for Puzzle Bobble 1 and 2. With my Neo Geo cabinet, I have a dual coin slot so I've got most of the games set to USA so that each slot works for the corresponding player. Is there a way for the Neogeo core to save a specific BIOS for a specific game?ĭo you mean the specific region or do you mean a BIOS other than the UniBIOS? Unless there's a specific issue with the UniBIOS that doesn't happen with the originals, you can set what region you want in the UniBIOS startup settings and then save the settings to the memory card. NOTE: If you want your settings saved so you don’t have to do this every time you launch this ROM, hit F12 to bring up the NEOGEO settings and ensure ‘Autosave’ is set to ON. Just hit the C button twice to get back to the UNI-BIOS v4.0 options screen, select EXIT and hit A. Select the Blood option and turn on by hitting A. Select the ‘Setting Up The Soft Dip’ option and hit A. As soon as you see the ‘NEO-GEO The Universe BIOS v4.0’ splash screen, press and hold B+C+D buttons until you see the UNI-BIOS v4.0 options screen. Hit the C button to exit.ĥ) Now, do a second soft reset/reboot of the ROM (I use my ‘User’ button on my I/O Board). Follow onscreen instructions to select your region (USA) and the mode (Arcade). From here, select the ‘Region Setup’ with the A button. Ensure SystemType: Arcade(MVS) and BIOS: UniBIOSĢ) Also, ensure you’ve configured your preferred controls via ‘Define NEOGEO buttons’ in the System menu.ģ) Do a soft reset/reboot of the ROM (I use my ‘User’ button on my I/O Board).Ĥ) As soon as you see the NEO-GEO ‘The Universe NIOS v4.0 splash screen, press and hold A+B+C, this takes you to the ‘NEO*GEO Universe NIOS 4.0 by Razoola’ menu. However, what you could do to speed it up is to enable DIP Settings from the OSD menu so that when you start Metal Slug, for istance, you will be presented directly with the Soft Reboot System settings and then you will quickly enable the blood again.ġ) Load the mslug ROM, then hit F12. As far as I know unibios doesn't save these settings. Great, I am glad to hear you got it working at the end. I could turn on the red blood and also saved it in the OSD menu but as soon as I turn off my MiSTer the red blood is gone what ever I do it does not save. It works only with Arcade mode not Console, so you have to make sure you select the Arcade mode! Select with A the option Slot 1 Metal Slug Select with A the option Setting Up The Soft DipĤ. Select with A the option Soft Reboot System and then hold B + C + Dģ. You just have to live without it i guess.Yes it is definitively there as I use it all the times with games. simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats,Įdit: Whoops, nevermind. Maybe it's some weird bug in cheat menu, you can try manually activating cheats by changing _C0 to _C1 and avoid using cheat menu completely. _L lines should be only read, never modified by ppsspp cw cheat implementation, so no clue how they get removed for you:C. ![]() Just an extra note, HD remastered games were released for PS3, meaning never had cw cheats until they were supported on ppsspp, so for those few games you'll faster find/request cheats on our forum than anywhere that's one weird bug you got, cannot reproduce it with cheat you posted, and it never happened to me either:|. Personally I wouldn't recommend using those files through, the bigger they are, the more useless/wrong region cheats they'll have that will only clutter cheat menu alot especially in more popular games and waste your time for testing all of that broken stuff:|. ![]() You can also find "cheat.db" file and import cheats from it, someone even posted a big database like that somewhere around. Once you find those cheats, you can just paste those you want to your ini file, save and be happy, some games have lots of cheats, I would recommend getting only ones you will use, leaves cheat menu much cleaner and faster to activate/deactivate stuff. It's quicker that searching for game name + cw cheat, since it filters out most sites that collect all cheats for game without thinking about region differences, it also allows to search for cheats on non english sites, which is especially usefull for fan translated games, but not only, since english part of the internet is not especially filled with decent psp cheats:]. From ppsspp you can find the game code in the titlebar or at the game info screen(the one you enter by right clicking or pressing and holding icon/name of the game in recent/games list). ![]()
